Today someone stopped by our house with a little surprise...a gift card to Wal-Mart, to easy the burden of not making quite enough money these days. We know things will turn around, mortgages will either pick up or Jeff will find another job. But, it doesn't make it easy in the mean time to make things stretch until things do change.
Family has said if things get too tight let us know, we will help you out - that is nice! But, this person didn't wait for the asking, they acted!
It was touching to me, and when they left all emotions started (I always like to cry in private thank goodness). Sometimes it is nice to have a little reminder that someone else is looking after us, and caring about our family.
