After we opened gifts and enjoyed playing with new toys we headed to Grandpa and Grandma Bills' house for our Christmas dinner/party. It was special this year because Mike was in town with his fiance and Scott and Eric were in town with their families - all of us together! It made for a huge crowd but one we love being with! After dinner we watched Santa walk by and magically deliver gifts for all the kids. We had a great time being with all our family!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas - it fell on a Sunday this year - how perfect is that?! Jeff and I knew the kids would complain about going to church on Christmas, we thought it was a great way for them to remember what Christmas was really about. We even made them wait until after church to open presents - mean parents!

All the kids were very happy and surprised with their gifts, a successful Christmas!

Temple Square

After our Christmas/Birthday dinner with the Oylers we decided to head to Temple Square since we were only a block away! This was our first year not bring a stroller - so much easier! The lights were beautiful and we made it through pretty quick without getting too cold.

Porter/Oyler Christmas

We celebrated Christmas and Grandmummy's 80th Birthday at Olive Garden in Salt Lake! We had fun being with Grandmummy and the Oyler's but were sad Kelcee, Dylan, Hollie and Mickell couldn't make it, hopefully next year more family will be able to come!

We made a quick trip to St. George to visit Grandpa Taylor. We hadn't seen him since August, and we finally had a free weekend to go see him. We all had a fun time swimming at the hotel, eating out and visiting a lot with Grandpa. It is always hard to say goodbye not knowing when our next trip will be but we all enjoyed the weekend with him!

Christmas Piano Recital

The kids did great on their recital! Emily played O Little Town of Bethlehem, Savanah played Jingle Bells and Justin played The Little Drummer Boy.

Teeny Tiny Program

Kate was so excited for her program at school...she got to use the microphone to say her part! All the kids had a small part to memorize. Kate's was "A" is for the angel with bright shinny wings...Hush if you listen you might hear her sing. Ethan's part was "This is the new star shinning so bright lighting the world on that first Christmas night" unfortunately Ethan was sick the day of the program and couldn't go. Kate did a great job!
