Justin Receives the Priesthood

 Justin and Grandpa Bills

It felt like Justin was NEVER going to receive the Preisthood...Stake Conference, Thanksgiving, Bishop out of town.  We just couldn't make things come together and honestly felt like we weren't getting any help.  We finally scheduled a Sunday (with the Bishopric) and invited all my family over to be part of Justin's special day and have lunch at our house.

All that was left was for Justin to be presented to the ward during Sacrament meeting and we were good to go.  Much to our horror they forgot to present Justin in Sacrament meeting!  Jeff and I about fell off our seat knowing Grandpa Bills had rescheduled his busy Sunday to give Justin the Priesthood and about 30 people were coming for lunch!

After Sacrament meeting we met with the Bishop and of course he felt terrible.  After several phone calls we got the okay to let Justin receive the Priesthood that day and had a huge sigh of relief!  It still took two more weeks to present Justin to the ward :)  I guess everything works out in the end!

Justin is so lucky to have such and incredible Grandpa who was willing to give Justin the Priesthood and support him as he has advanced in the church.

The day turned out great and Justin was so happy to see so much of his family come support him!

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with at Grandpa and Grandma Bills' house.  I must be enjoying the company and food too much to take a picture!  We had a great time being with our family!

Alice In Wonderland

Ethan and Kate's first Kindergarten field trip!  We rode the bus to American Fork High school and saw the play "Alice In Wonderland"

Justin's 12 Birthday

Justin's favorite part about turning 12?!?  No more Primary!!!  He was so excited to be a Deacon and receive the Priesthood - and so were we!
Jeff surprised Justin at school on his Birthday and took him out to lunch.  After school we opened presents and headed to Justin's resturant of choice - Brick Oven!  To our surprise Cosmo the cougar was visiting.  Fun for the kids to get their pictures taken with Cosmo.  After dinner Justin had chosen Cheese Cake for his Birthday cake that we all enjoyed!
Justin is so funny and  such a calming force in our family.  He is adored/idolized by Ethan :)  and Justin is so patient and kind to Ethan - they are such good friends!  We love having Justin in our family!
