Back to School

They are all back to school! Emily and Savanah are starting the 7th grade - first year of Junior High! Justin is starting the 5th grade and Ethan and Kate are in their second year of preschool.

Kate's 4!!!

We can't believe Kate is 4!!! She is growing up so fast and doing her best to keep up with all the big kids! Kate finally got a kitchen for her birthday, she has wanted one for a long time and never forgot about it. For Kate's birthday dinner she wanted to go to the "grape restaurant." It took us a while to figure out what that was, turns out it is Olive Garden! She had lots of family and friends come see her through out the day and let her know how loved she was on her birthday!

The girls were super lucky to have a back to school weekend get-a-way at Bear Lake! Their friend Grace invited them and their friend Estelle to her Grandma's cabin for the weekend to do crafts, play at the lake, swim, go out to eat and just be together with friends. They had a great time!

Laura's 30th

For Laura's 30th birthday Blake rented a huge blow up slide! We had a great time sliding and enjoyed a BBQ with the family.

Soccer Starts!

All five kids in soccer again! They all love it! Ethan especially took off this year with soccer. It was like the light finally went on for him...he ran up and down the field, scored goals and loved diving on the ball playing goalie!

San Diego

We had a great time visiting the Bills family in San Diego. It was fun to finally see where they were living and check out their new house. Of course we hit the beach - 3 different ones! We checked out the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum, watched the hang gliders, swam, tried some great local restaurants, had FHE on the beach with their ward and visited our good friends and ward members the Brenchley's on their mission at the Mormon Battalion. Our trip ended with a nice visit to Grandpa Taylor in St George on the way home.

Swim Meet #4

Savanah and Justin did great on their 4th and last swim meet of the season. They both came away with several awards, trophies and ribbons. We are so proud of them!
