Emily & Savanah's Baptism

Emily and Savanah were lucky enough to get baptized on their birthday! I thought this was special because I was also able to get baptized on my birthday. They will always remember that!

Emily chose Uncle Scott to baptize her and Savanah had Uncle Eric. They both had their Grandpa Bills confirm them.

We had all our family from both sides come and support Emily and Savanah on their special day. Both girls felt so good after being baptized and were so glad they made the decision to be members of the church.

After the baptism everyone was invited to our house for lunch and cake/ice cream. It was definetly a full house and a lot of work (mostly for me!) but so worth it. Our family appreciated everyone that came so far to be with us on such a special day.

California, April 2007

We drove to California to see Natalie get baptized and made a side trip along the way - to see Aunt Trudy and Uncle Ernie! Trudy is Jeff's half sister that we haven't seen since their Dad passed away (six years). Trudy and Ernie live in Redding, CA. It was only a few hours out of our way to go see them, so we did! It was fun to see where they live and to spend some time with them. Jeff has tried hard to keep a relationship with his siblings - not easy to do! We were so glad we took the time to go see them.
We had fun in Livermore seeing my side of the family and being part of Natalie's baptism. It was also fun to tell everyone our exciting news - we are having another baby! Everyone was pretty shock but excited for us.
We also were able to spend Easter with both my brothers (Scott and Eric) and their families. I have to say after four hotels and too many hours of driving to keep track of, and Ethan hating every minute in his car seat...we were glad to get home!!!

Birds!

For some reason these swallows decided our front porch would make a great home! All the babies (5) ended up falling out of the nest - not a great sight to see. The Dad and Mom bird kept trying to make another nest on our porch, but one mess was enough. We had to spray down their nest every night to keep them away!

Fishing, April 2007

Uncle Blake took Jeff, Justin and Uncle Justin to Strawberry Lake for a fishing trip. They had a great time - Justin even caught several fish that we enjoyed eating that night!

Ethan's Blessing, February 2007

Ethan, 4 months
Jeff & Ethan

Lisa, Jeff & Ethan

Grandpa Bills, Lisa & Ethan
Grandpa Bills gave Ethan a beautiful name/baby blessing. We decided to bless Ethan in our home and had both our families come. Afterward we had lunch and enjoyed being together.

Uncle Eric, Ethan & Uncle Scott
We were so lucky that Eric and Scott were here in Utah on business. Both their families live in the bay area of California so we don't get to see them very often. It meant a lot to me to have them here for this special day.
Tom Latta, Grandmummy Porter, Ethan

Jeff & Uncle Eric
A family get-together wouldn't be complete with out an endurance test and of course a round of "Indian Leg Wrestling"

The men giving it their all!
