Independence Day

Unfortunately we missed the big parade in Provo this year. Jennie always goes down early and gets us a seat, this year she was sick so we opted to stay home.

The kids tried to see the movie "Wall-E" with their cousins (Taylor & Natalie) and the film projector broke, strike two!

After nap time we did make it to Grandpa and Grandma Bills' house for a BBQ, swim and fireworks. That was a lot of fun and great to have the whole family there. Both Uncle Scott and Uncle Eric's families are visiting for the 4th.

The kids were however very disappointed we had to leave the firework's early due to family pictures the next morning. We had to be at BYU at 9:00 am for pictures, that is early for our family (especially the babies).

Grandma's 90th!

Can't believe Grandma Taylor has made it to 90!!! So many times we thought we were saying good bye to her, but she continues on. Grandpa and Grandma now live at Jamestown Assisted Living so that is where we had her party. Scott Taylor was in town and Eric, Marisa and their girls. We meet Blake, Laura and Summer too. Jamestown provided a cake and we all got to visit with Grandma a little. Hopefully we will be celebrating again next year!

Ouch...

Justin had about 20 minutes left to play on Saturday night and decided to hurry and hop on his bike and ride to Zach's house. In such a hurry Justin forgot to put on some shoes. When he got to Zach's house he hit some gravel and fell off his bike. His last three toes were pretty scraped up, the middle toe lost it's toe nail (ouch!) which Justin put back on his toe. Right below his elbow was scraped up pretty bad too. We didn't think much of it until Uncle Eric was visiting a few days later. Justin was reliving the whole experience to Eric. Eric asked to look at the injury's and noticed a rock coming out of Justin sore on his arm. I was quick to say it was a scab forming. Long story short, it was a rock! With encouragement and a few tears we were able to get Justin to pull in out with some tweezers. The rock measured 1/4"!!!

Ethan

I bought Ethan what I thought was a cute outfit to wear to church. Daddy said "NO, TAKE THAT OFF HIM." So tired of seeing Ethan in khaki pants and a polo shirt I thought this might be a nice alternative...guess I thought wrong.

First Swim

My friend Jennie was nice enough to come and help me go to the pool. It was our first attempt this summer to take both babies and all the other kids. Fortunately we had a good time and will try it again soon!

Five Little Monkeys

I am in the process of moving all G & G Taylor's things out of their condo...good reason though, the condo sold! I always knew I would inherit the iron bed that belonged to my Great Grandpa Lester and Great Grandma Rosella Dunkley, and the time is finally here! We are going to have the bed refinished for Kate. For now my five little monkeys think it is so fun to play on!

Jeff's Surgery & Lisa's Birthday

For some time Jeff has needed to have some work done on his throat/uvula. His snoring is pretty out of control and he has sleep apnea. Unfortunately his surgery landed on my birthday. Recovery took a good two weeks and really three for him to eat without any pain. Good news is the snoring has stopped! Dr Deny's (surgeon) said everything looks great and the sleeping/snoring will only improve over the next two to three months. And as for my birthday...there is always next year!

Babies...

I love these two...but they sure keep me on my toes!

Emily & Savanah's 9th Birthday!

Jennie & Ethan, Jeremy, Justin, Savnah & Emily
Savanah & Great Grandma Taylor, Great Grandpa Taylor & Emily

I can't believe Emily and Savanah are 9!!! I still think about moving in to our house when they were a week old and how I wondered if I would survive being alone in American Fork with two babies and trying to put everything away in a new house.

Emily and Savanah decided this year to get pedicures and manicures with their friends. This is something they have been wanting to do for a while, and they loved it! That evening we invited family over for ice cream and cake and the girls finished off the day by having a few friends come back over for a late night.

Clark Planetarium

We were supposed to go to the Zoo, but thanks to a rain storm we headed to Clark Planetarium. We met Jeremy, Jennie and Chandler up there and had fun being together with their family.

Gpa Bills' Birthday

Grandpa and Grandma Bills are still homeless (waiting for their new house to be finished) so we had them over to celebrate Grandpa's 59th Birthday!
