Triathlon

Savanah completed another triathlon! It was in Bountiful, early in the morning so only Jeff was able to go with her. I stayed and did soccer duty with the other kids. Savanah did great and loved competing again!

Hope of American

Emily and Savanah's school participated in "Hope of America". Over four thousand students perform patriotic songs in the Marriott Center. The girls have been practicing for weeks to get ready. They did a great job!

New Ride

Justin has been so patient about getting a new bike - one with gears! I think he has been waiting for a year and a half, his mean parents kept putting him off! Now that the weather is getting nicer and the kids are riding bikes to school again, we finally bought him a new bike! He loves it and is so glad he can keep up with his sisters now riding to school.

Symphony

We attended our last performance for the symphony this season. And, unfortunately it will be our last for a while. I spent half the performance in the bathroom with Ethan and Kate. Maybe in a few years when they can sit still a little better we will try again!

We had lunch after with the Brown's at our favorite restaurant - Taifoon, that we will miss! The weather was nice enough that the kids got to play in the fountains for a while and had a great time!

Bag Balm Mess

Ethan and Kate enjoyed a jar of bag palm - not fun to clean up, they were slimy for days!

Black Diamond

I think I missed my opportunity to get a picture of Savanah and Justin - ski season is over!!!

This was a great year for all the kids skiing. Savanah and Justin had two different days where they skied black diamond runs - scary! The loved every minute of it and had Jeff there to get them down the tricky parts. They are all excited to try it again next season!

Soldier Hollow

Our extended family had their annual tubing night at Soldier Hollow. It was so much fun! This was the first year we have taken Ethan and Kate - they did great! Jeff took Ethan and I took Kate which worked really well. We tried a run with the whole family, unfortunately we didn't communicate with each other and five of us put our feet down to stop at the bottom which created a huge snow/ice storm all around us! At that point Ethan and Kate were done - too much snow in the face!

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma that make this fun evening possible for everyone!

Valentine's

We had a great Valentine's weekend! The kids celebrated at school on Friday which was especially fun for Emily and Savanah due to them thinking boys aren't quite as gross as they used too be! Jeff and I got the kids their favorite cup cakes from Dippidee - always a hit!

Saturday night Jeff and I were able to go to dinner together - alone! We decided not to exchange gifts this year but have an evening together, which was great.

Sunday the Brown's came over to celebrate and to kick off the start of the amazing race! The kids always have a fun time, yummy food is always involved, and we always have a great time being with their family!

(the tulips are from Aunt Sandy to me for Valentines!)

Manti

Michele received her endowments on Saturday...at the Manti Temple! Laura was willing to make the trip with me and I am so glad we went! I love being able to see different temples than the ones I usual go to and it was especially neat to see a "live" session.
