Spring Piano Recital

Savanah and Justin did great at their recital...even though I got to watch them preform through video :( Emily wasn't feeling good so I stayed home with her and the little ones.  Too bad when you have to miss a recital you have practiced so long and hard for!  The kids are all doing great in piano and secretly I think they do enjoying playing even though they tell me different!

Preschool Graduation - End of an Era!

Ethan and Kate graduated from Preschool!  They spent both years of preschool at ABC Preschool with Miss Annette and Miss Andra.  They loved every minute of it and I couldn't have been happier with the preschool.  I felt like every penny spent was well worth it!  Ethan and Kate made such cute little friends and we will all miss their teachers very much!

Swim Team

Savanah and Justin decided to try out for swim team again this year and made it!  They are always so excited to join the team but loose their drive a little when practice starts and they remember how hard it is :)  They both are doing great and we are so glad they are doing swim team again this summer.

Competetion Soccer

Emily and mainly Savanah have been wanting to try out for a competition soccer team.  We have been a little reluctant to push them into trying out.  What if one makes it and the other doesn't?  What if it is more that we want to dedicate to soccer?  What if they are on separate teams?  (That would mean 5 kids on 5 different soccer teams in our family - impossible for two parents to swing!)  What if it turns them off to soccer because it isn't just about "fun" any more?  Can we handle spending that much money to be on a competition team?  After an undefeated season with their current team and with a big push from their coach we had the girls try out.  So lucky things went really well in our favor - they are on the same team and have three girls from their last team also on their competition team - yea!!!  Although the season hasn't started yet we hope this will be a great experience for the girls and they continue on with their love for soccer!

Jeff's 41st

State Fair

Justin had the State Fair the end of his 5th grade year.  His state was Michigan.  It was a big project and he did a great job!

Fashion Girl

Kate keeps us on our toes!  One day getting out the car she insisted I take "Fashion Girl" pictures of her.  Definitely not shy, she hammed it up!

Spring Break, Kennecott Copper Mine

We had so much fun at Kennecott Copper Mine!  Who knew such a neat place was so close to home?  Justin was the only one in our family that had been before.  Everyone one of the kids loved it and was a great stop on our Spring Break.
