San Diego

We had so much fun in San Diego for Sofi's baptism.  Several beach days, hike to potato chip rock, celebrating Emily and Savanah's 15th birthday and a visit to Grandpa Taylor on the way home!

La Roca Tryous

We were leaving to California for Sofi's baptism during soccer tryouts.  Justin was only able to tryout one day for La Roca out of the two and couldn't try out for any other team.  We were nervous to leave but felt it was important to be there for Sofi's baptism.  The morning we were leaving to California we got the call that Justin made the La Roca team again!  We were so happy for Justin (and relieved)!

Memorial Day

A visit to Grandma Bills' and Papa Porter's cemetery's to put flowers on their graves.

Hiking the "G"

Hiking the "G" has been on my list of family hikes to try for years!  We finally did it!  I have to say we all thought it was harder than the "Y" hike so I don't know how soon we will try this one again.

Baseball

Ethan decided to play baseball again with his friend Max.  Ethan is always so excited to start but soon realizes he doesn't love baseball.  He says it is too boring.  Maybe compared to soccer were he always gets to run baseball is a little slow :)  We are always glad he is willing to try something new!

Dance Festival

Ethan and Kate were minions for the dance festival!  It was so fun watching them dance.  We had a picnic lunch after with their friends.

Jeff's 43rd Birthday

Jeff and Jennie have the same birthday so this year we decided to celebrate together!

Piano Recital

This years piano recital was a little crazy.  Emily and Savanah's teacher had a baby about 6 weeks before the recital so she need to take the time off.  Unfortunately without lessons many of the kids were unprepared.  Savanah decided to play and did great.  Emily did feel ready enough to preform in front on the group so she skipped this time.

Father's and Son's

This year the Father's and Son's was at Willow Creek park in Lehi, nice and close!  Normally the girls and head to Park City for the night but this year we hung around home and grabbed dinner together.

Kate's Animal Report

Kate's first grade animal report was on the elephant.  She loves to preform and talk in front of her class so she was excited to give her report.  Jeff and went to watch her, she did great!

New Fridge

The fridge was the first of our appliances to die!  It made it 15 years then finally quit.  Of course we woke up on a Saturday morning packed with soccer games and were watching Jennies kids while they were at a funeral out of town when the fridge went out.  Made for a crazy day but we were able to run to Lowe's and find what we were looking for and it was delivered in an hour!

Ethan's Animal Report

Ethan's first grade animal report was on the Cobra.  He was so nervous, it isn't he favorite thing to speak in front of a group :)  Jeff and I both went to watch him give the report and he did a great job!  Of course he was glad when it was over - we were so proud he did it!
