Baptism

Justin finally made it! He has been so excited to get baptized after seeing he older sisters get baptized. Justin asked Grandpa Bills to baptize and confirm him a member of the church. He didn't get nervous or have very many questions. We are so proud of him and glad for the decisions he is making as he is growing up. Justin also had a lot of family and friends support him, unfortunately we were missing Uncle Blake, Uncle Matt and Uncle Lothar due to sicknesses. The highlight of the day? Great Grandpa and Grandma Taylor coming!

Thanksgiving

This year, like most, we spent Thanksgiving with Grandpa and Grandma Bills and the families that live close by. G & G always put on an incredible dinner, we watch movies, play with cousins and do plenty of visiting. It was a great day as always!

Vaseline

Ethan climbed the gate that blocks off the bathroom today and found a jar of Vaseline. And as usual, Kate was his subject. He covered her entire head and face with it. I have no idea how to get it off her, or their clothes! Always an adventure around here!

Priesthood Blessing

Savanah received her first priesthood blessing today. She has been struggling with some anxiety at bedtime and we thought this would help some of her worries.

Savanah wanted Grandpa Bills to give her a blessing but our home teachers were coming over (they also are Savanah's primary teachers) and offered to give her the blessing and she felt good about that.

It was a good experience for Savanah and for our family to be a part of. We hope this will help her get the comfort she needs.

Justin's Party

Miles Perkins, Chandler Brown, Morgan Wood, Dylan Swallow, Justin, Zack Butcher and Cayden Lund.

This year Justin had a friends birthday party. For almost a year now he has wanted to take his friends to play laser tag. The boys had so much fun and it turned out to be a great party! We weren't able to get a babysitter for the little ones so Jeff stayed with them, and thankfully Aunt Jennie came to help me manage all these boys!

Happy Birthday Justin!

Justin had to go to school on his birthday, which he didn't think would be much fun, but Jeff surprised Justin and checked him out to go to lunch. They went to Chilis and had a great time just the two of them!

Grandpa and Grandma Bills also came over to see Justin and bring him a gift on his birthday, he loved that since this year he was having a friends party and not a family party.

After dinner Justin got to open his presents and have cake and ice cream. Not too exciting on a school night, but he loved everyone of his presents and had fun playing his new video game for a while before bed.

Salsa!

Ethan's favorite food? Salsa. He loves medium, and any brand will do. Most of the time he doesn't even want chips to go with it, hand to mouth works faster!

Destroying Angels

This week has been particularly hard with Ethan and Kate. A new found trick is pulling out all the files in the office (while saying "Weeeeee") which took me over a week to get all the papers back in their right file!

Also, Ethan and Kate have taken quite and interest in the older kids rooms. Pulling down all their clothes, books and shoes out of closets, breaking glasses, destroying jewelry, swallowing hundreds of "beebs" which is fun changing a diaper after, dumping out Lego's, star wars figures, transformers, action figures, army men, lots and lots of hot wheels, getting every paper known to man out of drawers, cubbies, and the list goes on and on.

Thankfully we finally got a round to putting locks on the older kids doors, weight room and a gate on the bathroom, and the upstairs bathrooms stay locked as well as the office.

Only time will tell what they will get into next!
