We had the family over for BBQ hotdogs and treats before we all went out trick-or-treating. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time!

First Ever!

We have never had sleep overs with friends at our house, instead we have "late nights" which is everything a sleep over is minus the friend staying the night. Some how the girls talked me into having their friend Grace stay the night. And...it wasn't bad! Grace is a common fixture at our house and Emily and Savanah the same at Graces house so it wasn't a big deal. When their movie was over I went down stairs and said lights out and that was it! They all slept great and in the morning a Halloween visitor (Grace's mom) left doughnuts on the porch for everyone!

Pinewood Derby

Justin won it all!!! We were so excited that Justin never lost a heat and took first place at the Pinewood Derby! A huge thanks to Uncle Blake who helped Justin make his car - it took three nights of work with Uncle Blake and Dad to get it done, but they did a great job, and Justin couldn't be happier!

Potty Trained!

In August Kate decided she would no longer wear diapers! I felt like I wasn't ready to start potty training her, seemed like too much at the time! However Kate would take off her diaper every chance she had, so we decided to do it. It took about a month, with some very frustrating days but she finally got it down! Now that is all over with I am glad, and so relieved I don't ever have to potty train again!

The symphony is one of our favorite family activities. This is our second year buying the family lollipop series, and tonight we decided we will keep on with the tradition, plus we always have a great time going with the Brown family! It is fun dressing up for the Halloween performance and seeing what everyone else dresses up as. Tonight we had...a Priest, Nun, two babies, skeleton, Buzz Light year and a lady bug!

Cornbelly's!

We had so much fun at Cornbelly's!!! For weeks we have been trying to go and never make it. Tonight was our last chance before Halloween so it ended up being just me and the kids, but we had a great time!

He's Three!!!

We love Ethan so much! He has such a fun little personality and is growing up so much! Luckily his wild moments are getting less frequent and he is learning to communicate and understand better. He is such a great friend for Kate and we are so glad they have each other. Ethan had a great birthday and loved opening his gifts. The only thing he wanted for his birthday was a real dog...unfortunately we aren't up for that yet! His favorite part of the day was the family singing happy birthday to him!

Ethan had his three year check up today. He is 37 3/4 inches tall (51 %) and weighs 35 lbs. (90%).
