Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday!!! It was so great to be invited to someone else's house to a party! We normally have parties at our house because it is just easier with Ethan and Kate but this year the Brown's decided to host the Super Bowl at their house. Can't say that anyone but Jeff and Jeremy saw any of the game, but it was fun to be together and visit, and of course have food. Uncle Justin and Aunt Sunny even stopped by to say "hi" before they headed to SLC to a Super Bowl party with their friends!

Grandma Great

Grandma and Grandma Taylor at Grandma's 91st birthday, July 2, 2009.

Grandma Taylor passed away today. We are happy she is free from her body and sickness, but it never is easy loosing a loved one, especially one has great as grandma.

Contacts

Emily has been trying to get rid of her glasses from the time she got them! We decided to take a leap and try contacts. She is doing great, just takes more time to get them in than we have most mornings before school. With time she will only get faster putting her new "eyes" in. So far she is loving her new look without glasses!

Tubing with Cousins

Sealing

The Brown family was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple and I was able to be there with their family. What a special day! I was asked to hold Mallory at the alter and even though she wasn't happy it was an incredible experience to be a part of. We are so happy for their family!
I was also able to be an escort for Jennie along with Leslie (Jeremy's mom) at the Provo temple on December 11th, 2009.

California Cousins

Saying goodbye to our California cousins.

We were so excited to have both the Bills families come for Christmas this year! We love being with our family and our kids absolutely love having their cousins come for a visit.

Here Comes Santa Claus!

Our annual Christmas symphony performance! We all really enjoyed the symphony and Ethan and Kate are doing so much better, maybe they are even starting to like it?!? After the symphony we went a little crazy and ate at Sizzler (not my favorite!) with the Brown's. However, we always have fun being with each other no matter where we are! Then we headed off to Grandmummy Porter's for her Birthday and Christmas celebration with the Oyler family.

Christmas Piano Recital

The kids had their Christmas piano recital and they all did great! As the Mom I hold my breath until they are all finished, hoping the practicing has paid off and they remember all the notes and play the song like they are at home and not at a recital full of nerves! They are all improving well and their piano teacher has told me they all have a natural ability to play the piano, which should make the Daddy happy since he still isn't on board with piano lessons!

Justin played "Up on the House Top"
Emily played "What Child Is This"
Savanah played "We Three Kings of Orient Are" and "Sing Noel, Noel!"

Trimming the tree

The kids had a great time decorating the tree! They love finding all their ornaments and putting them where they want. Unfortunately our tree is going to be locked in the office for one more season! Hopefully next year Ethan and Kate will be old enough so we can have the tree out where we can enjoying more.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, like most, we had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Bills. Almost all the family was there, the food was wonderful, and the kids and adults always have a great time being together!

This is also the second year that the boys in the family have had a "Turkey Bowl" before Thanksgiving dinner. Not everyone made it this year but they had a fun time.
