18th Anniversay

For our 18th anniversary we stayed at the City Creek Marriott in Salt Lake.  The next day we went to Snowbird (where Jeff proposed!) The Oktoberfest was going on so we enjoyed the music and food and took the tram to the top of the mountain.  It was a fun weekend get away!

17th Anniversay

Our 17th anniversary was busy!  Four soccer games, primary practice, bridal shower, and a birthday party were all on the Saturday list.  We were able to sneak away in the evening for dinner at Cheesecake Factory which was a nice escape after the busy day!

Night Away

Rarely do Jeff and I get a night away but sometimes we just have to fit it in to our families busy schedule!  Laura and Blake had given us a gift certificate to the Melting Pot in Salt Lake, a place we have always wanted to try but didn't want to afford :) We finally had weekend free of sports and decided to make a night of it.  Sandy was willing to come over Saturday evening and stay with the kids until we made it back Sunday morning.  The kids did great and it was a much needed break for us.

Jetta TDI

After much debate and agonizing...we bought a car!  After figuring out our monthly gas bill between the Suburban and the Durago it just made sense.  I was driving all over the place, mostly by myself or with a couple of kids in the Suburban, such a waste!  Our new car gets 40 mpg around town and 50 on the freeway and we can go over 500 miles on one tank of gas!  Jeff and I share the car and we absolutely love it - the car and saving a ton of money on gas!

15th Anniversay

It isn't very often that Jeff and I get a night away but thought we better for our 15th anniversary! We only had Sandy for one night so decided we better stay close. We headed to Park City for the night. We had a relaxing few days together! It was nice not to be on the "family" schedule and take our time doing what ever we wanted!
