Memorial Day

 Kate, Grandmummy

We had a great Memorial Day weekend!  We visited Grandma Bills' graveside first then met Grandmummy Porter at our house and headed to Papa Porter's graveside.  Grandmummy came back to our house for a BBQ.  It was so fun having her come visit!

Night Away

Rarely do Jeff and I get a night away but sometimes we just have to fit it in to our families busy schedule!  Laura and Blake had given us a gift certificate to the Melting Pot in Salt Lake, a place we have always wanted to try but didn't want to afford :) We finally had weekend free of sports and decided to make a night of it.  Sandy was willing to come over Saturday evening and stay with the kids until we made it back Sunday morning.  The kids did great and it was a much needed break for us.

Dance Festival

 Ethan, Kate

 Justin

Justin

This was our dreaded year for the Dance Festival!  With Ethan and Kate in Kindergarten performing first and Justin in sixth grade performing last we had to stay for all the dances in between!  Kind of makes for a long morning :)  The kids did great and it is fun seeing them preform the dances they learned.  Ethan and Kate's class did the Chicken Dance and Justin's did Grease Lighting.

Spring Piano Recital

Justin and Emily far left

Unfortunatley Savanah was home sick during the Spring Piano Recital.  Ethan was a good sport and stayed home with her so Jeff and I could both go hear the other kids play their pieces.
Emily played Under the Sea, Justin played Jessica's Theme and Savanah was going to play Black Forest Polka and Yankee Doodle Boy.  They did a great job!

Baseball

 Ethan

Ethan

Ethan's friend Max asked if Ethan would want to be on a baseball team with him, of course he did!  Ethan was pretty nervous when his first game started but after a few innings he warmed up and loved it!

End of Spring Soccer

I forgot to post when Spring Soccer started and now it is over!

The girls had a rough season with their team/coach.  It was hard for them to be on such a great team that always won to going in the opposite direction.  We are at a cross road with Emily and Savanah with soccer.  They might try to get on the High Schools Provisional team, guess we have the summer to figure it out!

Justin's team was able to move up a division from last fall and they did great!  For now his team is staying in the division they are currently in but will do a lot more competitions over the next year.  Justin is still with La Roca and Christian is his coach.  Christian has already told the boys they can automatically be on his team next season so that takes some pressure off at tryouts!

Ethan is still will his original team/coaches and loves being on a team with all his neighborhood friends!

Kate is also still with her original team/coach.  Almost her entire team is in her kindergarten class and she loves it!

Park City

While the boys were at the Father's and Son's I took the girls back to Park City for the night!  So fun to just be with my girls :)  We did the same as last year - shopped, ate dinner and swam at the hotel.  This year we did have time to walk around main street a little bit and the girls loved taking pictures.

Father's and Son's

The boys always forget to take pictures!  The Father's and Son's was up Hobble Creek Canyon this year.  The first time with our new ward!  The boys all fished and Ethan was the only one to catch anything.  He was also coming down with something and was asleep by 8 pm!  It made a long night for Jeff and Justin in the tent.  Unfortunately it also rained on them all night, hopefully next year will be better!

Walk-A-Thon Winner!

Ethan was the winner of the most laps at the walk-a-thon out of all the Kindergarten boys!

Jeff's 42nd Bday

Jeff chose to drive to Idaho for his birthday to buy a lottery ticket!  Silly to me, but something he loves to do once in a while.  When the kids came home from school he took off with the boys to the Father's and Son's.  Sunday we celebrated with a steak dinner and ice cream and cake.

Mother's Day

Lisa, Laura, Kristin, Eva, Crystal, Michele, Helen

I had such a nice Mother's Day, except that Ethan was sick.  I went to church with the other kids, the cemetery and to Grandpa and Grandmas for dinner.  Everything was so great!  Jeff stayed back with Ethan and I sure missed having them with us.

Mac Beth

Justin

The sixth graders at Shelley Elementary put on a play about Mac Beth.  It was a little hard to follow with the sixth graders and all their silliness :)  Justin enjoyed being in the play and it was fun to see him preform!

Kindergarten Field Trip

 Kate

Ethan

Ethan and Kate had a field trip to the Thanksgiving Point Barn.  It was a lot of fun to learn about the animals, feed them and take a hay ride!

Spring Break 2013

Jeff and I took Ethan and Kate to the Zoo over Spring Break.  We couldn't convince the older kids to come with us!  We had a great time and enjoyed all the new improvements at the Zoo and it was fun to just be out with the little ones :)

RSL Game

Jeff and Justin were able to go to a RSL Soccer game - Justin's La Roca Soccer team was taking part in some of the pre-game activities and half time.  A few weeks later Jeff, Justin and Chandler were able to go again and enjoy another game!
